Activism bio (charitable work)

Kim Basinger is a vegan, which means she does not consume any animal products. Her activism on behalf of animals has been tremendous. She is a proud supporter of various animal protection organizations and has spent tireless hours campaigning on behalf of performing animals, trying to pass legislation to protect them from abuse and other mistreatment. She has also donated money to create a swimming area for rescued circus elephants at the Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and narrated a video on the subject of "downed" cows for The Farm Sanctuary.
